until those people placed randomly in the group simply by the flip of coin discovers something in common. when they do, they use the common factor to distinguish their group from another and causes feelings of "us against them"
then the discrimination starts.

Tha's exactly the question, which means it cancels off the "I agree, partly until......". :D
There's no point to refer the word "until" to.

how about if they have very limited chance to find out the common things that they share?
Say that if you are in a situation where you have to get rid of a person immediately with little information about the people in the group, such as occupation and sexual orientation, what would you do?

if the ppl in that group were only randomly put together...

Say there are 6 people: Hafidz, Sueray, Yuin Yi, Jia Mun, Kelvian, JK.
First, people are divided into 2 teams according to gender.
After two weeks, the deck is shuffled:
Team A Team B
Hafidz Sueray
Jia Mun Yuin Yi
Kelvian JK
Again, I remind you that these people don't know each other.
